The Wisconsin River
The Wisconsin river is responsible for the tourist town of Wisconsin Dells. However, north of the Dells you can access the same river all by yourself. These photos were taken at a local wayside between I94 and I39 on County road 21, just three miles easy of Necedah.
From the looks of it, the boat launch is even free.
